"The Starry Night", which can be seen here on the full size trolley, is one of the most popular masterpieces by the Dutch painter Van Gogh.
Vincent van Gogh made The Starry Night in June 1889, when he was voluntarily admitted to the hospital of Saint-Paul-de-Mausole in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence for a long period of time for psychiatric treatment. It is painted in oil on canvas and measures 73 by 92 cm. It is considered one of his greatest masterpieces. It is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
 
Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853 – 1890) is considered one of the greatest painters of the 19th century. However, this recognition came late.
